IOWA CITY, IA – Iowa senior Michael Reavis was crowned Big Ten floor exercise champion for the second year in a row Saturday night in Carver-Hawkeye Arena at the individual event finals of the Big Ten Championships.

Reavis’ score of 9.787 was a season best. For his efforts, Reavis was named to the all-conference team.

Matt Beiler took second on rings for the Hawkeyes. Jacques Bouchard came in sixth on rings, with a 9.225. Reavis also placed third on horizontal bar (9.3), fourth on vault (9.4) and eight on parallel bars (8.8). Bryan Bourland came in fifth on horizontal bar (8.85). On pommel horse, Jacob Becker placed fifth, scoring an 8.75 and Curtis Kleffman came in seventh (8.2). Geoff Reins came in sixth on rings, with a 9.125. Coach Tom Dunn recieved the Coach of the Year Award.

The NCAA Championships will take place April 6-8 in Norman, OK.
