The Big Ten Conference men’s basketball team improved to 2-1 on its foreign tour with Tuesday’s 109-100 win over the Brisbane Bullets Basketball Club.

The Big Ten squad led after one period before trailing 54-50 at halftime. Marcus Arnold of Illinois and Gordon Watt of Purdue led the Big Ten squad with 23 points each and Arnold also added seven rebounds. Ohio State’s Ron Lewis added 16 points. Iowa junior center Seth Gorney contributed two rebounds and a blocked shot to the win.

The Big Ten squad will conclude its tour Wednesday, meeting the South District Spartans in Brisbane.
