IOWA CITY – The women’s tennis team claimed two singles and one doubles spot in the September 8th FILA pre-season rankings. Junior Mili Veselinovic is ranked 57th, while senior Hillary Mintz is ranked 123rd.
Veselinovic posted a 9-1 singles conference record and went 17-4 in dual-match play, including 16-2 at the number three spot in the spring season. Mintz went 13-8 in spring play, including 11-7 at the number two spot.
Mintz, along with teammate, junior Jacqueline Lee, are ranked 50th in doubles. The Hawkeyes begin fall competition this week at the Gopher Invite in Minneapolis, MN.
