ANN ARBOR, MI –
The Iowa men’s golf team traveled to Michigan Saturday to compete in the Wolverine Intercollegiate at the University of Michigan Golf Course. After 36 holes, the Hawkeyes are in eighth place with a team score of 576. Wisconsin carded a 564 and is in first place.
Junior Adam Miller (+2, T22nd) had an impressive start to his Hawkeye career as he shot his first two rounds of competition. Miller was tied with senior Jon Feldick (+2, T22nd) at the end of day one. Junior Dan Holterhaus (+3, T31st), sophomore Cole Peevler (+3, T31st) and junior Scot Glasford (+6, T49) rounded out Iowa’s top five. Senior Bennett Hammerberg (+10, T63) competed as an individual.
The Hawkeyes will play the final 18 holes of the Wolverine Intercollegiate tomorrow. Play begins at 8:30 a.m. at the University of Michigan Golf Course.
