Hawkeyes Earn Third Seen In Big Ten Tournament

IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa field hockey team earned the third seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament hosted by Ohio State. The Hawkeyes will begin their quest for a second straight Big Ten Tournament championship Thursday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. (CT) against sixth-seeded Indiana.

Iowa defeated the Hoosiers in Iowa City on Sept. 30, in overtime, 2-1.

If the Hawkeyes advance to the semifinals on Friday, they will play the winner of the Michigan State-Northwestern game at 1 p.m. (CT). The championship round will be on Sunday at noon (CT).

The semi finals will be televised by the Big Ten Network and the championship will be televised by CSTV.
