HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL – The University of Iowa men’s golf team completed the final day of competition at the Wolverine Invitational in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. Iowa completed the fall season with the conclusion of play Tuesday. The Hawkeyes recorded an 18-hole score of 303 (+15) and an overall score of 905 (+41). Iowa finished sixth in the 10-team field. Host-school Michigan won the tournament with an 872 (+8).
Junior Cole Peevler led the Hawkeyes again Tuesday firing an even-par 72. Peevler finished second overall with a 214 (-2). The score of 214 ties the seventh-lowest 54-hole total in Iowa men’s golf history. Senior Todd Larson shot a 75 (+3) to finish tied for 24th with a 228 (+12). Fellow senior Adam Miller recorded a 76 (+4) to finish with a 231 (+15). Miller tied for 37th. In addition, freshman Dusty Koth finished with a 235 (+19) to tie for 48th and senior Dan Holterhaus finished 58th with a 244 (+28).
