IOWA CITY — Saturday’s annual battle for Floyd of Rosedale between the Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Golden Gophers inside historic Kinnick Stadium will be televised live to a national audience by the Big Ten Network.
It will be the first of two straight appearances on the Network by the Hawkeyes. Next week’s regular season finale against Western Michigan will be televised live. Kickoff for that game is set for shortly after 2:30 p.m.
The Iowa-Minnesota football game will be available in standard definition and high definition on Channel 218 of DirecTV. DISH Network customers will access the standard definition broadcast on Channel 4409 and the high definition broadcast on Channel 9502. AT&T U-verse customers will see the game on Channel 643.
Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes who have access to the Big Ten Network through one of the 67 locally-owned and locally-operated cable television companies across the state of Iowa who currently offer the Network inside their basic package should consult their local cable television channel guide for details about where the Iowa-Minnesota game will be available on their system.
Saturday’s appearance will be the Iowa football team’s third on the Big Ten Network. The Hawkeyes games against Syracuse and Indiana were also televised live by BTN.
