IOWA CITY — The University of Iowa Athletics Ticket Office will begin accepting orders for tickets to home games of the 2007-08 UI men’s basketball team against Big Ten Conference opponents from the general public on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
Game tickets can be purchased online at hawkeyesports.com, over the telephone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS, and over the counter at the UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena beginning at 9 a.m.
The UI Athletics Ticket Office is currently accepting orders for tickets to games against Big Ten Conference opponents from current members of the National I-Club. They, too, can purchase their tickets online at hawkeyesports.com, over the telephone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS, and over the counter at the UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Iowa plays nine games against league opponents in Carver-Hawkeye Arena during the 2008 season. The schedule opens on Wednesday, Jan. 2, with a date against Indiana. The schedule concludes with contest against Illinois on either Mar. 1 or Mar. 2
Iowa also entertains Michigan State (Jan. 12), Purdue (Jan. 16), Penn State (Jan. 26), Ohio State (Feb. 2), Wisconsin (Feb. 6), Michigan (Feb. 14), and Northwestern (Feb. 19).
The UI Athletics Department is currently accepting orders for “Big Ten Weekend Packages,” a reserved seat ticket for all four of the Hawkeyes’ league games -Michigan State (Jan. 12), Penn State (Jan. 26), Ohio State (Feb. 2) and Illinois (Mar. 1 or 2) that fall on a weekend.
