IOWA CITY, Iowa — Herky needs your support and assistance is just a few mouse clicks away.
The video game NCAA Football 09 is coming to the Nintendo Wii system and EA Sports is holding a mascot challenge to see which school’s representative will be on the cover when the game is released.
To reach the EA Sports web site, click EA SPORTS WEB SITE. Once on the site, you will use an imitation Wii game controller to VOTE NOW. The next screen will give fans the option to select the Big Ten Conference.
The first mascot that appears on the screen is Herky. Included with the image are Game Day notes that say Herky was first drawn as a cartoon in 1948 and was first portrayed at a football game in 1957.
Fans may vote only one time per day.
