Three-Game Ticket Packages on Sale Monday

June 5, 2008

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The UI Athletics Ticket Office continues to accept orders for three-game ticket packages for the 2008 University of Iowa football season and single-game tickets for Iowa’s first two home games of the season.

Fans will create their own package of three games by first choosing between Iowa’s first two non-conference contests of the 2008 season: Aug. 30 against Maine or Sept. 6 against Florida International. Fans will complete their three-game package by choosing two of three available games against Big Ten Conference opponents: Iowa’s Homecoming contest Sept. 27 against Northwestern, Nov. 1 against Penn State or Nov. 8 against Purdue.

The cost of a three-game package will be $147. Single-game tickets for Iowa’s dates with Maine and Florida International cost $50 for adults and $25 for boys and girls high school aged and younger.

The UI Athletics Ticket Office also continues to accept orders for season tickets from the general public, UI faculty and staff, current UI students, and students who will be enrolled for classes in the Fall 2008 semester. Students also have the opportunity to purchase for $5 the official 2008 Iowa Football student section t-shirt.

If available, single-game tickets for Iowa’s home games against Northwestern, Penn State and Purdue will go on sale in early July. The UI Athletics Ticket Office does not anticipate any tickets to be available for purchase by the general public for Iowa’s games against Iowa State and Wisconsin.

Fans interested in purchasing season tickets, three-game packages or single-game tickets for the Hawkeyes’ games against Maine or Florida International can do so online at hawkeyesports.com, in person at the UI Athletics Ticket Office, or by telephone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS. The UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays for fans who prefer to place their ticket order in person.

Single-game tickets for all of Iowa’s 2008 home games except the game against Maine are available as part of a purchase that includes pre-game hospitality inside Hawkeye Village, the UI’s official pre-game hospitality area. To place an order or for more information about Hawkeye Village, fans should call Bravo Sports Marketing at (319) 626-8286 or go online at bravosportsmarketing.com.
