IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa football team completed its second practice of the preseason Tuesday afternoon and although temperatures hovered around 85 degrees, a 15 mph breeze kept things moderately cool for the Hawkeyes.

Iowa opens the 2008 season with three consecutive home games at Kinnick Stadium beginning Aug. 30 against Maine with an 11:05 a.m. kickoff. The contest will be televised live by the Big Ten Network.
The home games against Iowa State (Sept. 13) and Wisconsin (Oct. 18) are already sold out, but Hawkeye fans can still purchase tickets for the games against Maine, Florida International (Sept. 6), Northwestern (Sept. 27), Penn State (Nov. 8) and Purdue (Nov. 15).
