WEST LAFAYETTE, IN – The University of Iowa men’s tennis team concluded the first day of competition Saturday at the Purdue Fall Invitational. Teams competing along with the Hawkeyes include Purdue, Marquette and Butler.
In singles competition, junior Reinoud Haal advanced to the finals of Flight A and junior Tommy McGeorge advanced to the finals of Flight B.
“Reinoud Haal had a breakthrough win against Marquette’s No. 1 player,” said Head Coach Steve Houghton. “We are very happy to have two singles finalists tomorrow.”
