Iowa-Illinois football on ABC Regional

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa’s football game at Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 1, will begin at 2:30 p.m. (Iowa time) and be televised live on ABC Regional. Wherever the game is not aired on ABC, it will be shown on an ESPN channel.

The Hawkeyes enter the game with Illinois with a record of 5-3 overall, 2-2 in the Big Ten Conference. The Illini are currently 4-3, 2-2 and play at Wisconsin (3-4, 0-4) on Oct. 25. Last season Iowa used a 20-yard touchdown pass from Jake Christensen to Brandon Myers in the third quarter to defeat Illinois 10-6 inside Kinnick Stadium. It was the fifth consecutive victory for the Hawkeyes in the series.

The last time an Iowa football game was broadcast on ABC was Oct. 6, 2007, when Penn State defeated the Hawkeyes, 27-7.
