IOWA CITY, IA – Due to expected inclement weather, the University of Iowa women’s rowing team has cancelled its races against Minnesota and Creighton Saturday. The event was to be held at Lake MacBride.
“When you take a look at the weather forecast, it’s easy to make the decision to cancel. However, we are disappointed that both crews lost an opportunity to race,” said Hawkeye Head Coach Mandi Kowal. “Let’s hope mother nature is on our side in the coming year. Until then, we move on and get ready for our next competition.”
The San Diego Crew Classic will be held on April 4-5 in San Diego, CA.
