IOWA CITY – Start times for the 2009 men’s basketball Big Ten/ACC Challenge were announced today by ESPN. The Hawkeyes will host Virginia Tech, Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 8:30 p.m. (CST) in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game will be televised to a national cable audience on ESPN2.
Iowa will be one of six Big Ten teams to host a Challenge contest. The complete Challenge schedule with times and TV is listed below.
Iowa’s complete 2009-10 men’s basketball schedule will be released in mid-August.
