The University of Iowa’s Sonja Molnar fell in her fourth match of the 2009 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships to Kayla Duncan of TCU, 6-2, 7-5.
Molnar competed against quality athletes in the event, facing the number three seed in her first match. The sophomore was ranked No. 72 nationally in the pre-season rankings. Molnar is now 5-3 this season in singles play.
The Hawkeyes return to action Oct. 16-18 for the Seminole Invite.
