IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa Department of Athletics has announced time changes for the KCRG-TV9 Hawkeye Challenge.
Iowa’s season opener Saturday, Nov. 14 against Santa Clara has been changed to a noon start time, while UCLA and Illinois State will play the second game at 2:30 p.m. The time change was made in order to accommodate fans who are interested in both attending the women’s basketball game, and watching Iowa’s football game at Ohio State, which is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
Sunday’s games will remain the same. Game one will be played at 11:30 a.m., while the Hawkeyes will play either Illinois State or UCLA at 2 p.m. live on KCRG-TV9.
Saturday, Nov. 14
Santa Clara vs. Iowa – 12 p.m.
UCLA vs. Illinois State – 2:30 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 15
Santa Clara vs. UCLA/Illinois State – 11:30 a.m.
Iowa vs. UCLA/Illinois State – 2 p.m. (live on KCRG-TV9)
