Iowa Soccer Announces Summer Camp Schedule

IOWA CITY, IA – University of Iowa women’s soccer team announced the dates for the summer camps held annually in Iowa City. Head Coach Ron Rainey, along with assistant coaches Shane Meridith and Eileen Narcotta, will lead the camps that showcase soccer skills instruction for kids 5-18.

The first camp will be held March 15-19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the bubble. Girls and boys, ages 5-16, can develop their skills in team and tactical training. Campers will also receive a camp t-shirt.

The summer soccer camp has two dates for athletes, including June 14-18 and July 26-30. Each week has two sessions the first being 9 a.m. to noon and the second is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Both boys and girls, ages 5-18, are welcome to attend. Athletes that sign up for one of the sessions will enjoy instruction from current University of Iowa soccer players and coaches, as well as a t-shirt and camp soccer ball.

The elite camp will be held July 18-21 and is open to girls, ages 10-18. Athletes will be challenged with advanced instruction to better their skills, including strength and agility sessions, video analysis sessions, goalkeeping sessions, and games against current Hawkeye soccer players. Campers will also receive a t-shirt.
