IOWA CITY, IA – Hawkeye fans will have a couple of chances to hear and see their new head men’s basketball coach this week and weekend.
Fran McCaffery will be on WGN Radio’s (AM 720) “Sports Central” show, hosted by Dave Kaplan, who will be doing the show live from Indianapolis Thursday night. Coach McCaffery will be on the air at approximately 7:15 p.m. (CST).
On Friday, McCaffery will be on CBS College Sports TV’s show “March Madness Central”, with hosts Adam Zucker, Waklly Szczerbiak and Steve Lappas, live from Indianapolis. McCaffery will be on the air at approximately 12:30 p.m. (CST) for about eight to 15 minutes. Check your local cable or satellite listing for the channel number in your area.
McCaffery will make an appearance on the nationally syndicated Basketball News/Pro Football Weekly radio show, which runs over the weekend in more than 130 markets. Click HERE to view the radio station in your area that carries the show.
These interviews are on top of an already extremely busy media week for the 22nd head men’s basketball coach at the University of Iowa. McCaffery has done numerous additional one-on-one interviews with print/web media, and local and national radio talk shows the past few days.
