IOWA CITY, Iowa – The UI Athletics Ticket Office is currently accepting orders for season tickets to the home games of the 2010-11 UI men’s basketball team, the first under the direction of new UI head coach Fran McCaffery.
The cost of a season ticket purchased by a member of the general public is $266. The cost for a member of the UI faculty and staff is $228. The cost for a current UI student is $75. In each case, the cost of a season ticket is less than a year ago because Iowa will play two fewer home games in 2010-11 than last season. The cost of single-game tickets has yet to be determined.
Iowa’s 2010-11 home schedule will include 17 events including one exhibition game, dates with intrastate rivals Northern Iowa and Iowa State, and nine Big Ten Conference home games.
Fans of the Hawkeyes who purchase their general public or UI faculty/staff season tickets prior to June 15 will receive a free “MAD-Pack” – a souvenir t-shirt, key chain, window decal and mouse pad that features the “LET’S BE MAD AGAIN” logotype.
Renewal season ticket customers – fans of the Hawkeyes who purchase general public or UI faculty/staff season tickets a year ago – also have the option of making payment for their season ticket purchase in three equal installments: The first at the time of the purchase, the second on Sept. 24 and the third on Oct. 22.
Renewal applications are HERE. Fans who will be renewing a ticket orders should log-in to their season ticket account. Also, renewal applications will not be mailed until mid-to-late July. Fans who want to take advantage of the “MAD-Pack” offer should renew in person, online or over the phone.
New season ticket holders can purchase season tickets HERE or in-person at the UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. New UI faculty/staff season ticket holders will need to fill out an application and mail it to the UI Athletics Ticket Office with their UI ID number or deliver it to the UI Athletics Ticket Office in person.
