IOWA CITY, IA – Approximately 200 University of Iowa men and women’s athletes are expected to participate in the 11th annual Hawkeye Day of Caring Sunday (April 25) from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
The student-athletes will join Iowa coaches, administrators and staff in working with numerous agencies from around the Iowa City area. Student-athletes will interact with youth at neighborhood centers, clean up local creeks and riverbanks, pull garlic mustard plants from around campus and deliver and sort canned food.
