IOWA CITY – University of Iowa guard Jaime Printy has been named a second team Freshman all-American by Full Court Press. Printy was one of just 15 freshmen chosen to the Full Court Press Freshman all-America teams.
Printy shined in her first year at Iowa, earning Big Ten Freshman of the Year and second team all-Big Ten honors. She was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week four times during the season and broke three Iowa freshman records (scoring, assists and three-pointers). Printy averaged 14.7 points and four rebounds per game while leading the team with a .883 free throw percentage and a .387 three-point percentage.
Printy was one of five freshmen players named to the second team and was one of only two Big Ten rookies to be chosen. Penn State’s Alex Bentley was a third team pick.
