IOWA CITY, Iowa – Former University of Iowa linebacker Chad Greenway will be featured on this week’s episode of “The Next Level” on the Big Ten Network. The episode spends a day with former Big Ten stars to learn about their lives in professional sports and society.
In this week’s episode, Greenway talks about the “Iowa mentality” helped him enjoy NFL success. Greenway has led the Minnesota Vikings in tackles the previous two seasons.
At Iowa, Greenway was a first team All-American and a first team all-Big Ten selection in 2004. The Mount Vernon, S.D., native was selected in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Vikings.
Greenway recently returned to Iowa City to serve as the Hawkeye honorary captain for the Penn State game.
“The Next Level” will air Thursday at 7 p.m. (CT) on the Big Ten Network.
