Hawkeye fans not able to make it to Carver-Hawkeye Arena Sunday to watch Head Coach Fran McCaffery’s regular season debut as Hawkeye coach as Iowa squares off against South Dakota State can follow the game with a live blog. Staff of the Iowa Sports Information Office will be manning the Official Iowa Basketball Game Day Blog from press row during the game.

Fans can click HERE on game day to participate or right now to register to have a reminder sent to you.

This feature gives diehard Hawkeye fans the opportunity to voice their opinion in submitting questions and comments, answer polls and get up-to-the-minute play-by-play, notes and stats about the game and Hawkeyes.

A reminder, due to the volume of entries, not everyone’s questions or comments can be posted. Over 600 Hawkeye fans participated in last week’s blog in Iowa’s overwhelming 111-66 exhibition victory over Illinois-Springfield.

The live blog will begin at approximately 1:45 p.m. (CST) and run throughout the game. Click on the interactive box below to join in on the conversation.

Sunday’s game will be televised nationally on the Big Ten Network with Tom Hart and former Hawkeye Kenyon Murray calling the action.
