Bluder Live Today at 2 p.m.

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet the media at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Bluder will talk about her No. 13/14 ranked Hawkeyes as they get set to open Big Ten Conference play at Penn State on Thursday evening.

Bluder’s news conference will be available live and exclusively from start to finish to subscribers of Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media mortal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official World Wide Web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Iowa enters league play on a five-game winning streak that has improved its overall record to 12-1 on the year. The 12-1 start is the best for the Hawkeyes since the 2004-05 season when the squad won its first 13 contests.

The Hawkeyes will travel to University Park, Pa., on Thursday night to square off against the Nittany Lions. It will be both teams Big Ten openers. The Hawkeyes will then return home to Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday, Jan. 2 to face Michigan beginning at 1 p.m.
