The Details: Iowa-Michigan State Ticket Exchange

Feb. 4, 2011

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The UI Athletics Ticket Office has provided the following information for fans of the UI men’s basketball program who were unable to attend last night’s 72-52 victory over Michigan State because of the difficult circumstances created by Tuesday night’s blizzard and are interested in taking advantage of the UI Athletics Department’s offer to exchange their unused game ticket for a ticket to another home game this season:

  • Fans with an unused ticket to the Iowa-Michigan State men’s basketball game are invited to exchange that ticket for a ticket to any of the four (4) remaining home games for Fran McCaffery’s 2010-11 UI squad. To review the Hawkeyes’ schedule, click HERE.
  • Fans are encouraged to make the exchange with the Athletics Ticket Office prior to game day. This will reduce the number of fans in line at the ticket windows at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on game night. The number of available ticket windows at Carver-Hawkeye Arena is already less than normal as a result of the renovation project currently underway at the facility.
  • There are a limited number of tickets available for each of Iowa’s remaining four (4) home games and, therefore, there is no guarantee that an exchange can be made for the desired game. Fans who want to make certain they can take advantage of the opportunity to exchange an unused Iowa-Michigan State game ticket for another game, should do so at their earliest convenience.
  • Fans who make an exchange will receive a game ticket that has a seat assignment. The new game ticket will not be general admission.
  • Fans are reminded that only unused Iowa-Michigan State game tickets will be exchanged.

Fans with questions should contact the UI Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800 IA-HAWKS. The UI Athletics Ticket Office is currently located inside the West Entrance of Carver-Hawkeye Arena and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
