CHICAGO – Iowa’s Fran McCaffery and Oregon State’s Craig Robinson will be featured on the first “State Farm Coaches Tournament Show” Tuesday on FSN. Intersport’s three-part series, which is hosted by Ron Thulin and Ernie Kent, highlights round-by-round analysis of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The first episode will premiere in FSN markets throughout the country on Tuesday and will be reaired multiple times throughout the month. Check local listings for show times in your market.
Each of the three “State Farm Coaches Tournament Show” one-hour programs features college basketball insiders providing their breakdown of the bracket and key match ups in the tournament. Previous participants include Tom Izzo, Mike Krzyzewski, Bruce Pearl, Bruce Weber and Roy Williams.
McCaffery just completed his first season at Iowa and 15th overall season as a head coach, with previous stints at Siena College, UNC-Greensboro and LeHigh University. McCaffery is 262-197 all time and 11-20 at Iowa after one season, which included a win over then-No. 6 Purdue to end the Hawkeyes’ regular season. McCaffery took Siena to three NCAA Tournaments and earned two first-round upsets vs. Vanderbilt (2008) and Ohio State (2009).
