McCaffery to Join Big Ten Network as Guest Analyst Monday

IOWA CITY, Iowa – – Iowa coach Fran McCaffery, who has taken three different basketball programs to the NCAA Tournament, will be a guest analyst at the Big Ten Network on the Monday night edition of Big Ten Basketball & Beyond.

The show, with Dave Revsine, Mike Hall and Iowa native Shon Morris, airs at 7 p.m. (CDT).

McCaffery will help break down the Ohio State’s performance in the East regional and Wisconsin’s performance in the Southeast regional.

McCaffery has made five career NCAA Tournament appearances as a head coach and is one of 16 active coaches to take three different basketball programs to the NCAA Tournament (Lehigh: 1988, UNC Greensboro: 2001 and Siena: 2008-10). His Siena teams upset Vanderbilt in 2008 and Ohio State in 2009. During his playing days at the University of Pennsylvania, McCaffery was a part of two NCAA Tournament teams.

McCaffery recently finished his first season at the helm in Iowa City. In the final month of the regular season, the Hawkeyes defeated two eventual NCAA Tournament teams, Michigan State and Purdue.
