TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – University of Iowa divers Deidre Freeman and Veronica Rydze competed in the women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard event at the World Championships trials on the campus of Florida State Friday afternoon. The duo is currently in 10th place after the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds.
After two rounds of competition in synchronized 3-meter event, Freeman and Rydze are in 10th place with a score of 508.08. The Hawkeye divers will team-up for the final round of the event Sunday.
Both divers will compete individually tomorrow in the 1-meter springboard competition.
