Europe Trip Day 1 Photo Gallery
CHICAGO — The University of Iowa women’s basketball team began its trip to Europe today by busing from Iowa City to Chicago for the first flight of the day.
The team departed Iowa City at approximately 10:45 a.m. and hit the road to O’Hare. After the team waited through extremely long check-in and security lines, the team boarded the first flight of the day, heading to Paris. The travel party will connect in Paris en route to Prague.
The flight from Chicago to Paris is approximately eight hours, with most of the team planning on a nice nap across the Atlantic Ocean. The seven-hour time difference means the team will land in Europe early Tuesday morning.
