IOWA CITY, Iowa — The UI Athletics Ticket Office on Friday, Aug. 19,will begin accepting orders for tickets to the UI men’s basketball team’s game against Creighton in Des Moines from current men’s basketball season ticket customers who are also members of the National I-Club at the Kinnick Society and Champion Hawk levels.
Fran McCaffery’s 2011-12 UI men’s basketball team will play Creighton in the 2011 Dale Howard Classic on Sunday, Nov. 20, at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Tipoff time has not yet been finalized.
Current men’s basketball season ticket customers and members of the National I-Club at the Golden Hawk, Silver Hawk, Bronze Hawk, Century Club and I-Club levels will be invited to place their order for tickets beginning on Aug. 25.
I-Club members can place their order by calling the UI Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-IA-HAWKS, visiting the office in its new location inside the Howard Family Pavilion of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, or online at hawkeyesports.com, the official web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Tickets range in price from $20 to $35 each. Tickets will go on sale for the general public in September.
The UI Athletics Ticket Office is currently accepting orders for season tickets to the home games of the 2011-12 Iowa Hawkeyes. Fans interested in becoming a season ticket holder should contact the UI Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-IA-HAWKS or visit the office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. New season ticket holders, this year, have the option of selecting their seat locations in the Arena.
