IOWA CITY, Iowa — It is the players’ turn Thursday, a day after SI.com posted an exclusive interview with University of Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz.
Hawkeye senior defensive tackle Mike Daniels and senior wide receiver Marvin McNutt, Jr., take turns interviewing each other in the indoor practice facility at the Hayden Fry Football Complex.
During the interview, Daniels says the Hawkeyes have the “best fans in America.” When asked to describe the demeanor of Ferentz, McNutt said his coach is “cool, calm, collected. He’s like a mentor and the parent you need away from home.”
