Ticket Packages, November Game Tickets on Sale

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The UI Athletics Ticket Office is now accepting orders for four different packages of home games of the 2011-12 University of Iowa men’s basketball teams and single-game tickets for all of the Hawkeyes’ home games in November. The ticket office will also continue to accept orders for season tickets from the general public, UI faculty and staff, and UI students.

Two of the packages include games the Hawkeyes will play on Saturdays or Sundays. Both packages also include two “bonus games.”

Weekend Package: 11 games plus two bonus games (13 games total), $174 each.
Features six non-conference games, including Iowa’s date with Drake plus five Big Ten Conference games including dates with Ohio State, Michigan and Indiana.

Big Ten Plus One Weekend Package: 8 games plus two bonus games (10 games total), $150 each.
Features three non-conference games, including Iowa’s date with Drake plus five Big Ten Conference games including dates with Ohio State, Michigan and Indiana.

The other two packages include games the Hawkeyes will play on weekdays. Both packages also include two “bonus games.”

Weekday Package: 12 games plus two bonus games (14 games total), $140 each.
Includes eight non-conference games, including Iowa’s season opener and the Hawkeyes’ date with Clemson in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge plus four games against Big Ten opponents including Purdue and Wisconsin.

Big Ten Plus One Weekday Package: 7 games plus two bonus games (9 games total), $95 each.
Includes three non-conference games, including the Big Ten/ACC Challenge date with Clemson plus four games against Big Ten opponents including Purdue and Wisconsin.

Fans can place their order for ticket packages and tickets to the Hawkeyes’ home games in November, including the 2011-12 season opener on Friday, Nov. 11, online at hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes, by clicking on the “TICKETS” link on the home page. They can also make a purchase over the phone at 1-800 IA-HAWKS or over the counter at the UI Athletics Ticket Office location in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Fans interested in purchasing season tickets can make their purchase over the phone at 1-800 IA-HAWKS or in person. This year, because of the renovation of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, new season tickets holders also have the opportunity to select their seats in the revitalized home of the Hawkeyes.

Sales of season tickets to the general public and UI faculty and staff are up when compared to sales at this time a year ago. In fact, season ticket sales in those categories have surpassed last year’s end-of-season totals.
