IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery will talk about his team’s three-game winning streak and Wednesday’s Big Ten Conference opener when he sits down with Gary Dolphin at Carlos O’Kelly’s Mexican Café in Iowa City for another edition of Hawk Talk with Fran McCaffery tonight at 7 p.m.
Hawk Talk with Fran McCaffery is also online to subscribers of Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal of hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
McCaffery’s Hawkeyes entertain Purdue at 8:30 p.m. Iowa time Wednesday night on Mediacom Court in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The game is the first of 18 league contest for McCaffery’s second Iowa team. The 2011-12 Hawkeyes carry an 8-5 record into their league opener, a mark bolstered by three straight victories including a big win over Boise State last Thursday night in the Arena.
