IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery will take a look at a pair of home games and a celebration of one of the greatest teams in the history of UI men’s basketball tonight when he sits down with Gary Dolphin at Carlos O’Kelly’s Mexican Café in Iowa City for another edition of Hawk Talk with Fran McCaffery tonight at 7 p.m.
Hawk Talk with Fran McCaffery is also online to subscribers of Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal of hawkeyesports.com, the official world wide web site of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Iowa entertains Big Ten Conference rival Minnesota Wednesday on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Hawkeyes defeated the Gophers earlier this month in Minneapolis. On Saturday, Penn State will visit the Arena for an afternoon date with the McCaffery’s squad. The UI will celebrate the 1985-86 UI men’s basketball team that won its first 18 games and came within one victory of advancing to the Final Four.
