The University of Iowa women’s soccer team will host two youth camps this spring and summer. The 2012 Spring Break Camp is scheduled for March 12-16 and the 2012 Elite Skills Camp will be held July 15-18.
The Spring Break Camp will run from noon-3 p.m. in the Hayden Fry Indoor Practice Facility (The Bubble). Girls and boys ages 5-16 are invited to register. The camp features instruction from Hawkeye coaches and players, skill development stations for beginning players, team and tactical training and a fun and challenging learning atmosphere for the campers.
The cost of the Spring Break Camp is $150 and includes a free t-shirt.
The Elite Skills Camp will take place at the UI Soccer Complex and training facility, the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center (HTRC) and other various campus facilities. Girls ages 10-18 can take part in advanced instruction in a challenging and educational environment, while receiving strength agility assistance. The camp also includes a recruiting seminar for all levels of collegiate competition and a video analysis session.
The Elite Skills Camp is $490 for residents and $390 for commuters. Team fees are $460 for residents and $460 for commuters, while daily fees are $125 per day for residents and $100 per day for commuters. Campers will receive a free t-shirt.
