IOWA CITY, Iowa — Head coach Ron Rainey and the University of Iowa women’s soccer team will play seven matches between March 3 and April 28. The Hawkeyes will host four contests, including a spring version of the Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge.
Iowa opens the spring season March 3 in The Bubble against North Dakota State University beginning at 3 p.m. The Hawkeyes will then host Nebraska at noon on March 31 at the UI Soccer Complex.
The Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge will take place at the UI Soccer Complex on Sunday, April 15, with Kansas, Iowa State and Minnesota making the trip to Iowa City. Teams will play on both the competition and practice field at the UI Soccer Complex.
Iowa will face Kansas at 11 a.m. on the competition field, while Minnesota and Iowa State will play on the practice field. Minnesota and Kansas will square off on the competition field at 3 p.m., followed by Iowa and Iowa State at 4:30 p.m.
Iowa’s first road trip of the spring will be April 21 when the Hawkeyes travel to Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes will take on Milwaukee and Marquette. The final game of the spring will be April 28 at Notre Dame.
