IOWA CITY, Iowa — Former University of Iowa men’s basketball player, NBA world champion and all-time winningest coach Don Nelson is returning to Iowa City this weekend to received his diploma 50 years after leaving Iowa City.
Nelson will join fellow graduates for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Commencement at 9 a.m. Saturday in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
