IOWA CITY, Iowa — Fans attending the men’s and women’s basketball Black and Gold Blowout on Friday should take note of parking options around Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Fan parking will be available in Lots 33 (east of Carver-Hawkeye Arena), 75N (south of Carver-Hawkeye Arena), 65 (southeast of Carver-Hawkeye Arena) and sections of 43N and 43 W (near Kinnick Stadium). Parking in these lots will be free to the public.
Fans can also park in any of the ramps surrounding the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Ramps will be charging the normal hourly rate.
Doors open at 7 p.m. on Friday for the Black and Gold Blowout. Tickets are just $5 and free for UI students and youth (18 and under). Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as there will be a number of prizes awarded to fans on a first-come-first-serve basis.
