? Freshman point guard Mike Gesell led all scorers with a season-best 19 points, bolstered by 7-10 shooting from the field and 3-5 accuracy from 3-point range.
? Roy Devyn Marble scored eight of his 10 points in the second half yesterday against Western Kentucky. Marble is the only Hawkeye to score in double figures all five games in 2012.

? Melsahn Basabe netted eight of his season-high 11 points in the second half against the Hilltoppers. Basabe also finished with five rebounds and four blocks. The four blocks mark the second time this season the junior rejected four shots (Central Michigan).
