IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa women’s soccer head coach Ron Rainey has announced that eight high school seniors will join the Iowa women’s soccer program next fall. The class includes players from four states and consists of three defenders, three midfielders and two forwards. The group will join an Iowa team that went 12-6-3 last season and qualified for the Big Ten Tournament.

“This group of athletes has the potential to keep the program progressing in the Big Ten and we are excited about them,” said head coach Ron Rainey. “They are great students, fine players and will add to the Iowa community with their infectious personalities. We want them to have an incredible spring and summer so they can come in and help us in the 2013 season.”

5’5, Defender
Green Oaks, Ill. — Loyola Academy

High School… All-Conference honorable mention as a freshman and junior… tallied 17 points off five goals and seven assists junior season… led team to regional championship… tallied 12 points with four goals and four assists as a freshman… started every game during freshman and junior season… played club soccer with Chicago Fire Juniors… Illinois State Cup champions in 2010 and finalists in 2011… member of Student Council.

Personal… Born 4/14/95… parents are Kathy and Brian Dennison… father was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers… has three siblings; Casey, Cory and Campbell… high school coach was Anthony Cappello… club coach was Trey Bradberry… plans on majoring in pre-business/marketing.

Personal… Born 6/13/95… parents are Tork and Sheila Harman… mother played volleyball at Iowa State… has two siblings; Bond and Sydney… high school coach was Andrew McKnight… club coach was Alen Kudomovic… plans on being a pre-medicine major.

Rainey on Harman: “Tory is tall and solid on the ball. She can play a few different positions and has come from the same high school program that gave us Kat Lewis and Jade Grimm.”

High School… Named all-conference and all-sectional as a junior, netting 14 goals with six assists… tallied 27 points off 11 goals and five assists as a sophomore… named all-conference and all-sectional as sophomore… earned academic all-conference accolades as sophomore… named all-conference and all-sectional as freshman… played club soccer for Strikers Fox Valley.

Personal… Born 7/26/96… parents are Tony and terry Lulek… has two siblings; Matt and Danny… high school coach was Megan Owens… club soccer coaches were Pat Fuelner, Dave King and Jim Winslow… plans on majoring in athletic training.

Rainey on Toelle: “Bri has a nice attacking mentality. She scores goals and creates foals, and we want her to be able to do those same things for us. Originally from Colorado, she has continued to play at a high level in Virginia and will do the same as a Hawkeye.
