IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet the media at 11:30 a.m. (CT) Wednesday to talk about the Hawkeyes’ upcoming Big Ten Conference game against No. 8 Penn State on Valentine’s Day.
The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Nittany Lions, 20-3 overall and 10-1 in Big Ten action, has won three straight contests since dropping a 63-61 decision at Wisconsin on Jan. 31. Prior to the loss, Penn State had won 11 consecutive games.
Iowa (16-9, 5-6) is 10-4 on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena this season. On Feb. 11, the Hawkeyes loss a narrow, 76-75, contest against Nebraska — the team’s fourth straight loss.
Thursday’s game is the lone regular season meeting betwen Iowa and Penn State. It is schedule to start at 7 p.m. (CT).
