IOWA CITY, Iowa — ESPN has released its coverage maps and viewing information for the second round of the 2013 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championships. University of Iowa women’s basketball fans wanting to watch Tuesday’s game against Notre Dame should take note of the following details.
Fans can see Tuesday’s game in its entirety on ESPNU, with Holly Rowe and Brenda VanLengen calling the action.
Fans without access to ESPNU have other viewing options. DirecTV or Dish Network subscribers located in the highlighted areas of the coverage map attached will be able to view the Iowa game in its entirety on alternate stations. DirecTV subscribers can tune to channel 731 or 731-1, while Dish Network subscribers can tune to channel 146 or 457. The normal ESPN2 channel will provide “whiparound” coverage, taking viewers to the most compelling action from multiple games.
Cable subscribers in the highlighted areas of the coverage map attached will receive the Iowa game in its entirety on the normal ESPN2 channel. Cable subscribers outside of those two areas will receive “whiparound” coverage on ESPN2.
Fans outside of the highlighted areas can see the game on ESPNU or by using the WatchESPN app.
Fans can purchase tickets in advance by calling 1-800-IA-HAWKS or by visiting hawkeyesports.com. The Iowa Athletics Ticket Office will also be open on Tuesday for fans to buy tickets in person. Tickets for Tuesday’s game are $18 for adults, $13 for youth (18 and under) and seniors (50+) and $10 for groups (20+).
