McCaffery Live Friday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery will meet the media at 2 p.m. (CT) Friday to talk about the Hawkeyes’ upcoming game against Maryland on April 2.

The briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Iowa (24-12) will face future Big Ten Conference member Maryland (25-12) in the Hawkeyes’ first-ever trip to the NIT semifinals in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Maryland is 2-0 in the all-time series, winning 70-68 in 1984 in Hawaii, and 83-65 in 1999 in Baltimore.
