IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head swimming coach Marc Long and the Hawkeye coaching staff will be conducting two swimming summer youth camps at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (CRWC) Pool in June.
The University of Iowa Swimming Sports Camps offer an intense and fun learning experience for kids nine (nine year olds are only permitted to attend with the commuter option and must stay at home overnight) through 18 years old. Long and his staff will instruct and demonstrate elite-level strokes, starts, and turns during the camp. Participants will also receive a personal DVD of individual strokes to take home.
The camps will be held June 9-13 and June 16-20. The costs for residents is $495 and commuters $370. Check-in the first day is 2-3 p.m., while camp concludes at 11 a.m. the last day.
