The Hawkeyes carded a two-round team total of 617 (+41), only three strokes behind fourth place Missouri State.
“We came out and played very strong on the front nine both rounds today,” said UI head coach Megan Menzel. “We need to make some adjustments for the back nine.”

“I am very pleased with Karly and Allison’s play today,” said Menzel. “They both stayed committed all day and showed some great composure on the golf course. It is so early in the season; this team will get a lot better.”
