Hawkeyes in the NFL: Weeks 9-17 Hawkeyes in the NFL: Weeks 1-8

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa football program has 27 former Hawkeyes on NFL rosters. The NFL continued its regular season over the weekend. A number of former Hawkeyes saw action and had success for their respective teams.

Pat Angerer – LB – Indianapolis Colts: Angerer saw action for the Colts in their loss to Cincinnati on Sunday. In his four years with the Colts, Angerer has recorded 322 total tackles. He led the Colts and ranked fourth in the league in 2011 with 148 stops.

Jonathan Babineaux – DL – Atlanta Falcons: Babineaux started and recorded 3 tackles in the Falcons loss to Green Bay on Sunday. He has started the last 89 games for Atlanta.

Bryan Bulaga – OL – Green Bay Packers: Bulaga has been placed on injured reserve. He is in his fourth season with Green Bay, and has made 33 career starts. Bulaga won a Super Bowl ring during his rookie season with the Packers in 2010.

Scott Chandler – TE – Buffalo Bills: Chandler caught 2 passes for 24 yards in a 27-6 loss to Tampa Bay on Sunday. Chandler has started 30 of the last 56 games he has competed in for the Bills, including seven of 13 this season.

Dallas Clark – TE – Baltimore Ravens: Clark did not play on Sunday for the Ravens. The former Iowa All-American and John Mackey Award winner is in his first season with the Baltimore Ravens after spending last year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Adrian Clayborn – DL – Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Clayborn registered three total tackles in Tampa Bay’s 27-6 victory over Buffalo on Sunday. He has started all 32 games he has appeared in for the Bucs, including all 13 this season.

Colin Cole – DL – Carolina Panthers: Cole made his 11th-straight start for the Panthers on Sunday. Cole is with Carolina after spending the past two seasons out of the NFL. In his career, Cole has recorded 228 tackles, and five and a half sacks.

Mike Daniels – DL – Green Bay Packers: Daniels registered one tackle for loss against the Falcon’s on Sunday. In his first season in the league last year, Daniels recorded 14 tackles while appearing in 15 games. He has played in all 13 games this season.

Bradley Fletcher – DB – Philadelphia Eagles: Fletcher, in his first season with the Eagles after four years with the Rams, started on Sunday against Detroit. Fletcher has started 10 of 13 games this season.

Adam Gettis – OL – Washington Redskins: Gettis, in his second year with the Redskins, saw action in the team’s loss to Kansas City on Sunday. He has played in 10 games this season.

Charles Godfrey – DB – Carolina Panthers: Godfrey is out for the season due to injury, missing his first game of the season in week 3. Godfrey, in his sixth season with Carolina, has made 74 career starts.

Shonn Greene – RB – Tennessee Titans: Greene carried the ball nine times for 46 yards and two touchdowns in the Titans loss to Denver on Sunday. The former All-American and 2008 Doak Walker Award Winner is in his first season with the Titans after spending the previous four seasons with the New York Jets. Greene rushed for at least 1,000 yards in his final two seasons in New York.

Chad Greenway – LB – Minnesota Vikings: Greenway notched 11 tackles, including a tackle for loss, and came away with an interception in Minnesota’s 29-26 loss to Baltimore on Sunday. The former Iowa All-American has started 108 of the last 109 games for the Vikings.

Micah Hyde – CB – Green Bay Packers: Hyde, winner of the 2012 Tatum-Woodson Defensive Back of the Year award, recorded five tackles in the Packer’s 22-21 win over Atlanta on Sunday. Hyde also made an impact on special teams returning three kickoffs for 76 yards and one punt for 12 yards. The rookie has played in all 12 contests this season, with one start.

Karl Klug – DL – Tennessee Titans: Klug started for the Tennessee on Sunday, registering one tackle in a 51-28 loss to Denver. Klug has appeared in all 45 games for Tennessee during his first three seasons, making one start in each season. As a rookie in 2011, Klug compiled a team-high seven sacks. The total tied for sixth place in sacks among all NFL rookies, tied for fourth among all NFL defensive tackles, and led all NFL rookie defensive tackles.

Marvin McNutt – WR – Carolina Panthers: In his second year in the league, McNutt was signed to the Carolina Panthers active roster in the middle of the season after starting with the Miami Dolphins. He did not see action on Sunday for the Panthers.

Tony Moeaki – TE – Buffalo Bills: After suffering from a broken shoulder during the preseason with the Chiefs, Moeaki was signed to the Buffalo Bills active roster last week. Moeaki recorded a total of 80 receptions for a total of 1,009 yards and four touchdowns during his three seasons with the Chiefs.

Brandon Myers – TE – New York Giants: Myers made his 11th start of the season for the Giants on Sunday, tallying four receptions for 26 yards and a touchdown. Myers, in his first year with the Giants after spending four years with Oakland, has 149 career receptions for 1,479 yards and eight touchdowns.

Shaun Prater – DB – Minnesota Vikings: In his second year in the league, Prater saw action against the Raven’s on Sunday.

Riley Reiff – OL – Detroit Lions: Reiff saw action this week, starting his 13th game of the season for the Lions. He has started 21 career games during his first two seasons in the league. Reiff was Detroit’s first round pick in 2012, marking the third-straight season an Iowa player was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Allen Reisner – TE – Jacksonville Jaguars: Reisner has been placed on injured reserve. He has started three games this season.

Ricky Stanzi – QB – Jacksonville Jaguars: Stanzi did not play in the Jaguars 27-20 win over Houston on Thursday.

Jeff Tarpinian – LB – Houston Texans: Tarpinian saw action for Houston in a loss to the Jaguars on Thursday. Tarpinian has appeared in five consecutive games for the Texans.

Matt Tobin – OL – Philadelphia Eagles: Tobin, in his first year in the league, saw action for the first time in his career in a 34-20 victory over Detroit.

Julian Vandervelde – OL – Philadelphia Eagles: Vandervelde, in his third year with the Eagles, has seen action in all 13 contests this season.

Marshal Yanda – OL – Baltimore Ravens: Yanda started for the Ravens in their victory against Minnesota on Sunday. He has made 85 career starts in seven years for the Ravens, including the last 60 games.

Markus Zusevics – OL – New England Patriots: Zusevics, in his second season with New England, was placed on the injured reserve list.
