IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa rowing will hold a summer camp, July 27-29. The camp is open to ages 15-18 who have yet to begin full time college enrollment and will take place at the P. Sue Beckwith Boathouse.
Those in attendance will receive instruction on rowing technique on the water, on rowing machines, and in the tanks at the Boathouse. Skill instruction in sweep boats, individual analysis, video review, and land-based strength and conditioning training are also included. There will be 2-3 sessions each day of the camp. The cost of attendance is $475.
