IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa field hockey team announced its spring schedule Friday. The Hawkeyes will be competing in three tournaments in April, including a tournament at Grant Field on April 26.
Iowa will begin competition on April 12-13 at the Louisville Tournament in Louisville. The Hawkeyes will then travel to Evanston, Ill., the following week to compete in the Northwestern Tournament on April 19-20.
Iowa will close out its spring slate hosting its own tournament on April 26 at Grant Field. The Hawkeyes will play host to Missouri State, Northwestern, and St. Louis in the four team tournament. Iowa will also be hosting an Alumni game in-between the action at Grant Field.
Below is the complete schedule for the tournament:
10:30 a.m. Iowa vs. SLU
11 a.m. MSU vs. NU
11:30 a.m. Iowa vs. NU
12 p.m. MSU vs. SLU
1 p.m. Iowa Alums vs. Iowa
2 p.m. NU vs. SLU
2:30 p.m. MSU vs. Iowa
3 p.m. 3rd vs. 4th
3:30 p.m. 1st vs. 2nd
The games will be 25 minutes in length with a 5 minute cool down period in-between games.
