3-Game Ticket Packages on Sale Monday

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The UI Athletics Ticket Office will begin selling three-game ticket packages for the upcoming 2014 Iowa football season on Monday, June 16.

Fans of the Hawkeyes interested in securing their seats for three of the seven games the Hawkeyes will play in Kinnick Stadium this fall will have the opportunity to customize the ticket package to meet their interests and schedules.

Each package will include Iowa’s nonconference game against Ball State on Sept. 6 The Cardinals are coming off a 10-win season that included seven victories against Mid-American Conference opponents and an appearance in the GoDaddy Bowl.

Fans will then select one game from a group that includes the Hawkeyes’ season opener against Northern Iowa on Aug. 30, Iowa’s Homecoming game against Indiana on Oct. 11, and a Nov. 1 contest against Northwestern.

Fans will complete their package by choosing between the Heartland Trophy game against Wisconsin on Nov. 22 and the Hy-Vee Heroes Game against Nebraska on Black Friday (Nov. 28)

The cost of a three-game ticket package is $177.

Fans can also make their purchase over the phone by calling 1-800 IA-HAWKS or in person at the UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Fans are reminded that the UI Athletics Ticket Office is still accepting orders for season tickets to the home games of the nationally-ranked 2014 Iowa football team. General public season tickets cost $395 each.

Iowa opens its 2014 season on Saturday, Aug. 30, against intrastate rival Northern Iowa. The Hawkeyes also entertain Ball State on Sept. 6 prior to squaring off against Iowa State in the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series game on Sept. 13.

The Hawkeyes 2014 home schedule against Big Ten Conference opponents includes games with Indiana (Oct. 11), Northwestern (Nov. 1), Wisconsin (Nov. 22) and Nebraska (Nov. 28).

Iowa is coming off an eight-win season that included an appearance in the 2014 Outback Bowl in Tampa. The Hawkeyes return 14 starters and are expected by many to challenge for the Big Ten’s West Division title, which would earn the team an opportunity to advance to the 2014 Big Ten Championship, Saturday, Dec. 6, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
